1.The Ellis School is hosting a Senior Brunch at The University Club on March 12. This brunch is a way for not only the Ellis School, but the Senior’s Little Sister class (Sophomores) to honor and appreciate the Class of 2017 before they go to their chosen college or university. Per tradition, the sophomores will be giving a gift to their big sister to commemorate lifelong friendship and mentoring.
2. Ellis Alum, Jamie Beth Cohen Schindler Class of 1993, came back to the Ellis Campus on March 6th and spoke with students about her experience as a freelance writer. Miss Schindler was in Room 102 during periods 1 and 2. Ms. Dotson recommended speaking with her if you are currently interested in writing.
3. Andreana Hardin, Class of 2020, is hosting a baby doll drive for children of color. The point of the drive is to provide a positive representation of people of color to young children. The class that brings the most dolls will receive a dress down day and a food prize.
